A Community Conversation on Natural Gas

Over the past few months, the Marcellus Shale Coalition asked Pennsylvanians their questions about natural gas development.
This website will answer those questions straightforwardly and honestly.

Q: Where are drilling sites in Potter Co., PA?

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) provides information on its website to assist the public in identifying well locations in each municipality. The site also provides data relates to various permits natural gas producers must obtain associated with production activities. Also, specific to Potter Co., the county recently received more than $554,500 in Marcellus Shale impact fee-related revenues.
